Rebaba has signed a supplier agreement with Rexel Sverige, bringing its Swedish-built battery energy storage systems into Rexel's nationwide installer and contractor network. Rebaba's Companion and Containerised systems, from 40 kWh to 5+ MWh, are available through Rexel Sverige from 22 September. Rexel is adding Rebaba's circular battery systems to its energy storage offering. Built using upcycled EV batteries, the systems are already deployed across commercial, industrial and infrastructure applications, combining competitive economics with long lifetime and intelligent energy control. Demand for energy storage is climbing with the rapid growth of AI, data centers, electrification, rising power demand and grid constraints. Swedish businesses are facing rising peak tariffs, long grid connection queues and volatile electricity prices. Battery storage lets them cut their energy costs, earn revenue on the frequency markets, and secure capacity without waiting for a grid upgrade.
