Stockholm // Cologne 2026-06-17 Swedish battery storage company Rebaba and German electrification technology company nanuq are now partnering to help fleet operators across Germany, Austria and Switzerland overcome two of the biggest barriers to large-scale fleet electrification: grid constraints and peak demand costs. Germany is Europe’s largest logistics market and one of the fastest growing markets for commercial fleet electrification. A single truck charging depot can require as much power as a small factory, forcing fleet operators to either delay electrification plans or invest heavily in grid upgrades. In Germany's most congested grid areas, operators are waiting years, and sometimes a decade, for upgrades. Rebaba brings the storage layer needed to solve that bottleneck: circular, cost-competitive BESS built from automotive-grade EV batteries, produced in Sweden and designed for high-demand charging infrastructure. The systems combine Energy Control (smart energy optimisation) with Endless Battery (lifetime warrant), giving operators a storage model built to last alongside the depot infrastructure itself. “This is the infrastructure gap no one talks about enough.
